Sermon Title:
“A Gift Given in Love.”
The Reverend Nancy Collins

Through God we have a gift of love that cannot be defined except through the gift of Christ which is given to all of us in love. Accept this gift during this season and rejoice!

Blue Christmas Service on December 13 at 2:00 pm
A Blue Christmas service is a time when those that struggle with all the joyous celebration of the holiday season can come together and find friends to worship with that understand their struggles and how the festivities that are joyful to others are a challenge to them. If you are challenged by the joyousness of the season and want to quiet time of reflection instead for a moment come and worship with us at the Blue Christmas service. If you want to just be present with your Lord and reflect upon the struggles of your life and the hope that God can offer, come and be renewed. Sometimes the festiveness gets to us and we just need a moment to be at peace. Come and be part of this time of reflection and peace with us on the 13th at 2:00 pm.

Clown Worship Service on December 21st
(to thank everyone for their support of Imagine No Malaria)
This year we pledged to save 100 lives through our giving to Imagine No Malaria. We reached our goal early after a challenge from Rev. Nancy that if we reached our goal we would celebrate with Clown Worship Service on Dec. 21st. We have reach this goal and gone beyond it! Praise the Lord!
So our celebration of worship on the 21st will be a bit different and we hope you will all come and enjoy the fun as we realize that God truly must have had a sense of humor. Just think, who could possible create creatures like a platypus and a hippopotamus without a sense of humor.
Let us celebrate and rejoice together as Promise the Clown leads us in worship this year. Promise is named after the promises of God. First the promise that God would never again destroy the people of the earth through a flood. Second, God promises to be with us always and we can rejoice because we know that He is here with us as we serve Him in the world around us. And finally the promise we have of eternal life through Jesus our Savior. Praise the Lord! See you at the service.

Christmas Eve Service on December 24th at 7:00 pm
Christmas Eve Worship will be a time of celebration and joy as we remember the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We will honor Him through worship celebrating the communion and having a candle lighting service where we hear the message of Scripture and celebrate His coming together.
